In true Pixar form, "Inside Out" was made to make us cry. Admittedly, I went into the theater with a bit of a wall up, and when the credits rolled I walked out with dry eyes. So I'm sorry, Pixar, but you didn't get me this time. However, when I popped in the Blu-ray, I found myself getting into the movie a little more. And yes, by the time I sat down to start writing, I found myself a little on the emotional side.
Five Emotions must work hard when a young girl moves to a new city. Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. Parental guidance.
