I am in my 6th week on the Atkins and am so happy to have lost 19lbs so far still 2. I haven't found it any hardship 'except' I do sooooo love wine of which I have completely done without! However, with Xmas upon us I have a couple of prearranged meals out and as much as I know on phase 1 alcohol Is not permitted, I don't think it's being realistic that I won't drink on these type of occasions. Do I need to accept that this is going to be my lifestyle now, not being able to drink again as I'll put on weight??
